Business Growth Consulting
For small businesses ready to stop blending in
You Built Something Real. Now You Need It to Show.
You're good at what you do. Your customers know it. Your work speaks for itself.
But online? You're invisible — or worse, you look like every other option in the search results.
Meanwhile, bigger competitors with bigger budgets are showing up first, getting the calls, and winning the work that should be yours.
The gap isn't your quality. It's your presence. And spending money on ads doesn't close that gap — it rents visibility you lose the second you stop paying. What actually works is building a presence that earns trust and holds it.
Most "Marketing Fixes" Skip the Most Important Part
Tactics without identity are just noise.
Before we talk about Google rankings, review strategies, or AI tools, we need to answer three questions:
What are you all about?
Not your services list — your identity. What you stand for, what makes your business worth choosing over anyone else doing the same thing.
What do you want?
Where is this business actually going? What does growth look like for you in the next 12 months — and beyond?
What are you willing to do about it?
Real growth requires real commitment. Not more hustle — smarter systems, clearer communication, and the discipline to show up consistently.
These aren't warm-up questions. They're the foundation. Every tactic we build together sits on top of this clarity — or it doesn't hold and it won’t work.
Built for Local Service Businesses in Orange County
This isn't enterprise consulting. It's not a generic digital marketing package.
It's a hands-on engagement designed for owners of small, local service businesses — the kind of people who are deeply skilled at their craft and running the whole operation at the same time.
If you're an electrician, mechanic, plumber, HVAC tech, landscaper, cleaner, appraiser, or any other local service provider who knows they're being outpaced online, this is for you.
You're ready for this if:
You have a solid business but a weak or outdated online presence
You're losing jobs to competitors who aren't actually better, but somehow they just show up first
You know you need more reviews, a better website, and better visibility, but you don't know where to start
You want someone who's actually run a business — not just a marketing vendor — in your corner
What the Work Looks Like
We start with a full audit of where you stand online — Google Business Profile, website, reviews, local search visibility, what your competitors are doing that you're not. You'll see exactly where the gaps are and what's costing you.
Then, we build and execute a plan that typically includes:
Fully built out and optimized so you show up in local search and on Maps when people are looking for what you do.
A simple, consistent system for getting more reviews from happy customers without it feeling awkward or forced.
Audit and improvement so that when someone lands on your site, it builds trust immediately and makes it easy to take the next step.
The right keywords, content, and structure so that Google understands who you are and where you serve.
Blog posts, GBP updates, and social content that builds your authority over time without burning you out.
Tools that reduce the manual work so you can spend your time on your people and your craft, not your inbox.
The through-line is always organic authority. We're not buying ads. We're building a presence that earns trust — one that keeps working whether you're on the job, with your family, or not thinking about marketing at all. That's the difference between renting visibility and owning it.
I've Been in the Trenches
I spent 12 years running two restaurants and a catering business with a team of over 25 people. I know what it's like to be the owner, the manager, the marketer, and the one who stays late to make sure everything runs right.
Before that, I worked in management consulting. I've seen frameworks applied from 30,000 feet. I've also tested them on the restaurant floor at 11pm on a Saturday.
That combination is what I bring to every consulting engagement. Not theory. Not a playbook built for someone else's business. A real partnership with someone who's walked it.
I call the framework I've developed the Shift OS — an operating system for moving from chaos to workability. It's built on four principles: shift from perception to perspective. Own your influence instead of chasing control. Manage your energy before your time. And move from binary thinking to a workability mindset.
I apply it to leadership coaching. And I apply it to building businesses that grow with clarity.

Not sure where you stand yet?
Before we talk, you might want a baseline. I offer a free online presence assessment — I personally review your Google Business Profile, website, reviews, and local SEO, then send you a specific breakdown of what's working and what isn't.
No automation. No generic report. A real look at your actual situation.
FAQs

The distinction is real and worth understanding, especially if you're trying to figure out which one you need.
Coaching is exploratory and relationship-driven. I don't come in with a predetermined answer — because the most important work usually isn't about the presenting problem. It's about the underlying patterns, blind spots, and assumptions driving it. A coaching engagement is co-created. We follow the thread wherever it leads.
Consulting is more focused and solution-oriented. You bring a specific challenge — your online presence is weak, your business is being outpaced by competitors, your team isn't aligned — and I bring expertise, a diagnostic approach, and a concrete plan. I have a point of view, and I share it directly.
What makes my consulting different is that it never stays purely transactional. The same three questions that open every coaching engagement open every consulting engagement: What are you about? What do you want? What are you willing to do about it? Identity and clarity come before tactics — always. That's the Shift OS applied to a business context.
So if you're a leader working through something internal — a career inflection, a leadership challenge, a question about what's next — coaching is likely the right fit. If you're a business owner who needs to build a stronger online presence and compete smarter locally, consulting is where we start. And often, the line between the two blurs in the best possible way.

The initial call is about making sure we are the right fit for one another.
That’s why it is completely free, and it can take up to an hour depending on the questions we may have for each other.
Relationships are based on trust and understanding. So, the primary purpose is to get to know each other and see how we jive together. We all have different backgrounds, beliefs, perceptions, and biases, so the best way I can be of service to you is to ensure we have a baseline commonality in those areas.
In the end, I want to work with people who want to work with me, and I’m sure you’d feel the same way. Having a connection is very important to me in my coaching.

Because the problems are connected. A business owner who can't get out of their own way won't be served by a better Google Business Profile. And a leader who's exhausted by their team usually has an operational problem underneath the leadership one. I built a consulting practice because I kept seeing small businesses with real potential being outpaced online — and I had the tools to fix it. The coaching and the consulting share the same foundation: clarity before strategy, identity before tactics. The work looks different, but it starts in the same place.

It depends on scope. A focused project — GBP optimization, a website audit, a review system — can be completed in a few weeks. A fuller engagement that covers your online presence end to end typically runs two to three months. We'll scope it together based on what you actually need, not a preset package.

Most of my consulting work is with businesses in Orange County — Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Irvine, Huntington Beach, and surrounding cities. Some of the work is done remotely, so there's flexibility depending on the engagement.

Marketing agencies typically arrive with a playbook — services they sell, metrics they report on, deliverables they produce. I don't start with tactics. I start with three questions: What are you about? What do you want? What are you willing to do about it? The work we do together has to fit your business, your capacity, and your actual goals. That's the Shift OS applied to a business context. It's a different kind of engagement.
